Sushma Vageesh, born in a family patronizing art, have been practicing dance since childhood. She is an accomplished Bharathanatyam dancer who received an intense training under renowned Guru Sri Dr. Sanjay Shantaram, director of Shivapriya school of dance, Bangalore, India.

Sushma is a Computer Science Engineer from Visveswaraya Technological University (VTU) , India and also completed junior and senior dance exams from Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) - maintaining a perfect balance in academics and dance. She continues her life journey trying to explore the joy and happiness from performing and learning with her first love - Dance.

Sushma has performed in various places in INDIA, UAE and USA at prestigious festivals and occasions, receiving a warm response by one and all. And also performed in numerous programs to bring cheer to lesser privilege.

Besides her intense training in Bharathanatyam, she has basic knowledge in Kuchupudi, Odissi and popular Folk dance styles of India .

Sushma has conducted numerous workshops at schools and trained students in India and USA.
